"Capriata" with chicory and small "fava" beans

Ingredients for 4 people:
500 g of shelled dried small "fava" beans,
1 kg of wild chicory,
chili powder and garlic,
200 g of tomatoes,
30 cl of extra virgin olive oil,
salt,
300 g of stale bread.

Preparation:
Clean and wash the chicory and remove the roots. Bring a pot with some water and salt. Boil the beans on a low heat and stir until they turn into a puree. Bring another pot and boil the chicory in salted water. Fry the garlic and the chili powder in a pan and add the tomatoes (small pieces). Cook for 3/4 minutes.
